Dear _________________:
      Landlord's Name

I received your notice on _____________________
                                     (Date Received)

informing me of the change in my present rental agreement. This
change, however, will not occur immediately, or on the date you
specified.

The Ohio Landlord-Tenant Law (ORC 5321.17) requires a
landlord to give at least thirty (30) days advance notice before
any change in a month-to-month rental agreement can take effect.
Therefore, the change you have proposed will take effect on my
next rental due date, after the thirty days requirement has been
met.

I will continue my present arrangement for now, while
taking steps to comply with your request during the time I am
allowed under the law.

Thank you for your attention and cooperation in this
matter. I am sure this letter will clear up any confusion about
the legal requirement of a proper thirty day notice.

                         Sincerely,

                         _______________________
