Irene Kohn Honored

Met Council Board members, staff, and volunteers gathered at a dinner March 12 to honor departing board member Irene Kohn, who has served as a member and officer since 1974. She came to Met Council from her work with Yorkville Save Our Homes, fighting the city’s urban renewal program, and was our expert on Mitchell-Lama housing issues. She will continue to help tenants through her volunteer work on Met Council’s tenant hotline two days a week, as she has for many years.
