Your lucky day, I was just on the phone with my insurance company and asked about your situation. They said that any parked car is not responsible for an accident, regardless of whether or not the car is insured and regardless of whether or not it was hit by another car -- and that whoever damaged your car is responsible. However, since your car is uninsured, you won't have an insurance company to argue your case for you. good luck!

: A couple of months ago, I told my landlord that the door of the garrage is not in working
: conditions and it could fell on my car. He knew it and promised to fix it. My car was parked
: there for a while (a year) since I bought a new one. Unfortunately, it is not covered under
: insurance.

: A week ago, the garrage door suddently fell on the car and damaged it including breaking
: of rear glass.

: Now my landlord says, since the car was not covered under insurance, his property insurance
: would not cover it and that he does not have any liability on him.

: Could somebody, please let me know what should I do.
