I goofed. I accidently left my 9-month lease 6 months early (in Colorado).
According to the contract, I owe lost rent (from Oct 31 to Dec 12 when they got
a new tenant) as well as 1 MONTH fine $1200, AND reimbursement of the "move-in"
special that they gave me on day one. The total comes to $4000. Is this
legal for them to do? If so, I goofed, but I want to check with anyone out there
that might know if this is excessive.
