: : : I'm in NYC, in a rent-stabilized apartment, where I've lived since 1995.

: : : My landlord has notified me that he wants to enforce a "rule" that he claims was attached to my original lease as a rider. First, I have no record of any such document, and I have kept all copies of all of my leases. But assuming that it did exist, if I signed new leases at each renewal (and received the cover form showing the stabilized increase), and none of any of the subsequent leases attached any riders whatsoever, can the landlord enforce provisions contained in the initial lease's rider? Is there any relevance to the fact that I actually signed new (not titled "renewal") leases at each renewal?

: : : Any help is much appreciated - I've been informed I have 10 days to cure, and I'm wondering where I might stand.

: : : Thanks!
