YES. But if she is trying to evict you in a non-payment proceeding for rent she refused to accept, the judge is supposed to dismiss the case. They often don't. And you will have a difficult time proving it because you pay cash in person.

Go to the Housing Court and/or to a tenant clinic (call Claire Shulman's office: they can refer you to one) with all your papers: ask for more info and for advice.
