Our lanlord wants to "let us out of our lease early" because he wants to sell the property. Because we are interested in moving anyway, we are pretty sure we will agree to this, but we are wondering if we can negotiate with him the point that we want our full security deposit (one months rent) back first...or is he obligated to provide that to us if he is the one breaking the lease?
