Since a month before moving in I have not seen, nor heard from landlord.

I have since, Finished wiring building, replaced gas line, fixed plumbing and part of heating system and helped the retired man on the first floor with his problems...

the roof leaks and many other things need repair.

10+ phone calls and 5 letters to landlord have been sent. None of them resposponded to.

Can I buy the building? At what point is a building "abandonned"? by an absentee landlord?
