It's time to prepare my defenses.

I paid all back rent, yet received a Petition today.

In going over some housing oourt information I see "wrong name" listed as defense.

My landlord has been misspelling my first name on my records, demand for payment, and the petition. Moreover, the petition lists another tenant, and her non-payments are merged with mine.

Although not lacking on defenses, I wonder if a misspelled name qualifies as "wrong name" and what about having the other tenant's name appear on my petition??? Is there a reason? Is it an oversight?
