: I know that was meant for me, ok?
: I am from California, and I do not have subsidized rent. I live
: in an apartment complex with only 12 buildings. I pay only 365.00
: a month but now it's 410.00. It's a 620 square foot 1 bedroom place.

If your lease is up or you are a month-to-month tenant, the landlord can evict you for no reason or any reason with (usually, most states) 30 days notice. Search here for 'california' for earlier posts, may be of some help. Read the CA section on the main page, may be of some help.http://tenant.net/index.html
