I dont belive you.....YOU have a garden and YOU want the landlord to pay for YOUR ants....

Of all the NUTTY tenant tricks this take the cake......

If you had NO GARDEN then the landlord would be responsible for HIS ANTS!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

: I live in a rent stab apartment in Manhattan. I have a terrace where I grow a wonderful garden. For several years I have been experiencing a growing problem with ants, they are all over my terrace (although I manage to keep them under control most of the year) but in the spring they start invading the interior of my my apartment. I find them everywhere, even in my cat's food and water dishes. I have demanded that the landlord to send the exterminator on a monthly basis, but whatever they use, makes no difference, the ants keep multiplying.
: This year the invasion into the apartment is massive, I am constantly spraying around the terrace door and windows, have placed many ant traps but the problem persist.
: What legal recourse do I have to force the landlord to take drastic exterminating measures?
: Thank you for your help.
