motion to dismiss

Posted by N on May 23, 2000 at 19:11:24:

I am smack in the middle of a summary proceeding for non-payment.

(See me post below on bankruptcy and rent collection).

In court the landlord's attorney made a motion for an adjournment to research a legal issue of the case.

It has been suggested to me to make a motion for dismissal of my case.

Is this a viable strategy? Who has done this, under what circumstances, and the consequences??
