Be a little creative, get a spray bottle and spray his door with a heavy concentation of LYSOL,( get the small bottle of concentarted stuff) if that doesnt work try Bleach.....

Maybe he'll get the message, or at least Lysol isnt as bad smelling as garbage. I had the same problem and It worked for me years ago


: My neighbor in the apartment next to me is a 75 year old man who has a rent controlled partment, collects garbage and cooks things that fill the entire building with horrrid smells. I have spoken to the landlord who had spoken to the tenant - but the tenant refuses to cooperate. Several of us want him out of the building or to clean up his act. What can we do or force the landlord get our building smelling better. The landlord has called the health department but they said they can't do anything. We're all stumped. Do you have any suggestions? The summer is the worst time of year for us. The smell can make you wretch at times.
