Apartments Renting For More Than $2,000 A Month

In the case of 327 Central Park West v. Vincent, reported in the New York Law Journal, June 28, 2000, Manhattan Housing Court Judge Rodriguez stayed a holdover proceeding for an apartment renting for more than $2,000 a month, pending resolution of a Fair Market Rent Appeal to DHCR.

The decisions cites a large number of cases with apartments renting for more than $2,000 a month, the registration requirements of the law, and the rent stabilized status of the apartments.
