I am a tenant in a illegally converted studio apartment in a Brooklyn brownstone. The house has four studio apartments in addition to the owner's unit. The studios were put in approximately seven to ten years ago. I have a written lease. Three of the studios have bathrooms with no windows. Is that a violation of NYC or state housing code?
