Satellite Antennas In Apartment Buildings

Posted by Mark Smith on August 29, 2000 at 08:02:31:

From the New York Post, August 29, 2000:

SATELLITE JUNKIE By JOHN MAINELLI

Attention, apartment-dwelling TV junkies. Nobody's ever told you this, but you can have your very own satellite dish - even if your uptight building has prissy rules about eyesores on your balcony or anything bolted to your window ledge.

[My Note: FCC rules allow building residents to have a satellite antenna on their balconies. The article says that satellite antennas are able to work inside an apartment, even through a closed window and blinds.]
