if anyone out there can help me with this, i would really appreciate it.
i moved out of my apartment in Brooklyn in February, when i moved, my landlord inspected the apartment, and said it was fine, and told me he'd give me back my deposit of $825. he gave me $550 then, and promised me the rest by March 15th. well, March 15th came and went, and i didn't see a check, i wrote him and called him, and long story short, he was upset with me for bothering him and tolod me he would pay me the balance, but wouldn't give me a date. it's August 29th now, and i still haven't seen the rest of my security deposit. i would take him to small claims court, but i live in Chicago now, and the cost of getting back to the city to do that is just too high. if anyone out there knows of any way to help me, e-mail me at Pr4mr1@aol.com, i would really appreciate it.
