As Mike says you have no LEGAL ground to stand on really.My suggestion is try to negotiate with the LL for a smaller increase or more time to move.If his option is get 3 months at $1650 with a written guarantee you will be gone, or try to evict you now.....I know which Id take, and if you have to go to court it would look good to have made the effort!
