My lease expired 2 months ago and the leasing office never brought it to our attention. We continued to pay the same rent and it was finally mentioned to us this month. The company wants to force us to pay a month-to-month rent rate for this month when we have already paid the contractual amount and renew our lease for the same rate next month. Can they force us to pay the month to month rate when they provided no written notification?
