I rented an apartment 2 years ago. It was a one year lease. The landlord
has never asked for another lease. I'm month to month now. Just this past
month she's asking for $20 more a month for rent and to split the electric
bill. She's always been the one to pay the electric. Can she legally do
this? I pay heat (gas). Thanks!
