I haven't found anything about fire alarms, so far, so i thought id ask...
Is it not the landlords duty to provide smoke detectors?
We rent a four bedroom house with furnished attice and basement, alas, the only smoke detector i found was lying open on the furnace, covered in dust with a burnt out cigarette sitting beside it!
