The landlord would be responsible for repairing the building and wall and ceiling of whatever damage there is. As far as your curtains getting damaged, I don't know where that lies. Can you prove their costs with a receipt? I would just chalk it up to a loss and move on. If you really wanted to press the issue, you may have to go to small claims court and have pictures and written documentation that you contacted the landlord. The realtor may not be the right person to go through. You could write your landlord directly and see what he/she says.
