our lovley coop has just declared that in order to finish ones floors or paint ones wallsyou must have whomever you hire to do this approved by the mng agent. now, this means it will cost more as we will have to hire licenced and insured people. It is tradition inthe building that such cospetic work does not require permission. can they just go ahead and do this? we have rent-controlled apts if that changes anything.
