Hi. I moved into a great one bedroom apartment in Stuy Town (in Manhattan) in May. I have since become engaged. I have called the management office numerous times to request to be put on the waiting list for a 2 bedroom or to have my fiance request a transfer (he already has a 2 bedroom). The office has repeatedly told us no to both requests -- they told us that all waiting lists are being phased out & that transfers are no longer allowed. The office even has gone far enough to hang up on us when we asked too many questions.

In addition, there are two apartments sitting vacant on my floor, one of which I saw when they were re-doing it & it is a luxury apartment now -- totally different kitchen with top on the line appliances. I think something is up. Anyone know anything?
