From what you have said - I can't see any way that you could go to court and have a leg to stand on. You have no copies of anything. If you were in their office - they probably had a photo copy machine somewhere in the area where they could have made a copy. They could have completed another blank copy for you on the spot!!! Sorry to say - it is your fault for not following through. Without the paper proof - it is all verbal and everyone knows that a verbal agreement is not worth the paper it is printed on. I am sorry that you had to learn this lesson the hard way - but it will go a long way to know that EVERY agreement in life has to be on paper and YOU have to have a copy. Consider it tuition in the college of hard knocks. Life gets easier once you know the basics.
