there is much more to new york city, true
but when one works in the village and studies at nyu this is the ideal location, (especially when one has commuted daily from northern jersey for the past six months -- i refuse to use any form of transportation save my own two legs (-:)
i have already seen several apartments within my price range but i am holding out for (my definition of) perfection
