Seeing that what you're now talking about is a legal document, I would take it to a lawyer familiar with landlord tenant law. We cannot see this document, unless you attempt to type out every single word that the document carries in order for us to determine whether it's for the same $3,000 or for an additional $3,000. Good luck.

: Hi all
: I posted last week saying that I was on my way to samll claims court to recover our $3000.00 which our pissed off landlord was attempting to hold without lawful reasons.
: (see "On my way to small claims - Kenny 01/10/01")

: It seems the landlord has filed a counterclaim for $3000.
: Within his counterclaim, he gave me more evidence to use against him in court, so I'm not complaining :)

: My question is:
: Is he suing to keep the security or is he suing to keep the security AND for an additional $3k?

: Does anybody know?
