Upset neighbor and children

Posted by Deborah on February 12, 2001 at 23:08:20:

We just had a new neighbor move in next door to us and we share a common wall. Ever since she moved in, she is constantly taping notes with a landlord cc to our door telling us how noisy our 3 year old is. We lived here for 9 months without any complaints until she moved in. Can we be evicted for a noisy child? We were told when we moved in that we didn't need to put carpeting down because of the fact that we live on the first floor. Anybody have any information on case law that protects us or will go against us? She's not noisy past nine in the evening or before 8 in the morning.
