I think this person's trying to say that there's no such thing as tenant rights and that there's merely "the law" and if we focus on "the law" then tenants rights do not exist. In an indirect, twisted way, he/she has a point. Looking at my lease, I have to say, the LL certainly has a lot more straightforward, clear, and to the point rights as to what LL can have and do than I as a tenant.

Either that or the poster was just REALLY having a rough day and had thrown back a couple of strong drinks.

Common law and common law courts. Lots of information. Tenants can from common law courts and try the criminals. Tenants groups very easily converted into court.
