lease renewal

Posted by georgygirl on February 27, 2001 at 18:50:39:

Update: I signed off on my lease renewal, sent both copies back to the LL with a letter that asked for LL to sign his FULL name as opposed to his warped initials, and asked for a fully executed copy back. LL had claimed previously that his initials, which don't even READ as HIS initials by the way, was his LEGAL signature; he claimed he "signs everything and all legal documents that way." Turns out he doesn't.

So in another month, the renewal goes into effect -- and I'm still without a working mailbox with a working lock. I asked him about the mailbox status too, in the letter, since the postmaster left a notice in our building saying the Post Office will not be held responsible for missing mail.

Meanwhile, the building still receives bills from the gas company under the previous landlord's name. . .
