from what i've heard (at rent-direct is legit enough, tho you could pay the dough and still never get a listing for an apt you really like. but if yer lookin to live in manhattan $169 is measly. the listing agencies that are to be avoided are ones that just advertise in the classifides with ads that claim to have amazing apartments at 'unbelievable' prices.
