The usual timeframe for most states is 24 hour notice by LL before LL entry. The only time an LL can come in unannounced is for repair (busted pipe, water gushing, fire blazing out of your apartment, that kind of thing). Write a polite, short letter stating a request for 24 hour notice and leave an accessible way or ways to reach you in case of repair emergency only. Most LL's are reasonable with giving the 24 hour notice. You are not on call 24-7 for them. If LL cannot agree to a 24 hour notice, check your lease and check with your local housing authority as to what your rights are.
Perhaps you should go to a "spy shop" and buy a hidden camera to see what this LL is up to?
