REQUEST FOR COMMENT ON PROPOSED CERTIFCATION OF NO HARASSMENT

Date of Notice: March 27, 2001
To Occupants, former occupants and other interested parties of:

42 West 54th Street Inquiry Period: Feb. 12, 1998 - Feb. 12, 2001
260 W. 244th Street Inquiry Period: March 2, 1998 - March 2, 2001

The Department of Housing Preservation and Development has received an
application for a certification that during the inguiry period noted for
the premises above, no harassment occurred at such premises in the form
of
threats, use of physical force, deprivation of essential services such as

heat, water, gas or electric, or by any other conduct intended to cause
persons to vacate the premises or waive rights related to their
occupancy.
Upon the issuance of a Certificate, an owner can legally convert the
premises to non- single room occupany occupancy use.

Comments as to whether harassment occurred at the premises should be
submitted to the Housing Litigation Division, SRO Anti-Harassment Unit,

Floor, 100 Gold Street, New York, NY 10038, by letter postmarked not
later
then 30 days from the date of this notice or by an in-person statement
made
