You don't understand: the landlords cry poverty every year, yet they're getting about 100% profit on their rentals (the figures came from the tax-man: they lie to him, too). Landlords used to consider 10% profit on the rentals to be a good thing. Remember: they also get a huge profit on the sale of the building...
