Notice to Cure

Posted by gpau on April 26, 2001 at 19:17:40:

I am the subtenant in an appartment in which the tenant has recently received the Notice to Cure document. On the letter it says we have to be out in 10 days (May 5). We intend to comply and I am going to send out my reply via fedEx and registered mail tomorrow.

The landlord has since stated to the primary tenant that if we are not out on the first of May he will change the lock on our door. Is there any way to protect myself from this happening?

Is this a blatant violation of the law?

If it does happen how will I get into my apartment?
