First of all, he cannot evict. The court determines if there should be an eviction and issues a writ of eviction. Have you been to court? Was there a court date on which you did not appear?

Where are you? Check the laws in your area and proceed to get a lawyer. Many areas provide legal counsel on an ability to pay scale. This guy sounds dangerous and not very bright to make his own laws. Protect those receipts. The courts will decide if it was his signature or not. He cannot do this even if you were late with rent without a court order!!!
