Judge Douglas Hoffman oversaw a long and nasty legal fight between the tenants of our building and the LL. The details of the case are long and tedious; this was a dispute that had been festering for 20 years. Let me say that Judge Hoffman was level-headed, fair, strong, consistent and patient. The tenants negotiated hard and came out with a very strong settlement; Judge Hoffman has on-going jurisdiction.
I urge anyone who has had interactions with Judge Hoffman and wants to give credit where credit is due: Write a letter in support.
NYC Tenants need judges like Judge Hoffman.
