That person/place/thing can't read. Ths issue isn't luxury decontrol, it's "preferential" rents. If this ruling stands, your rent can zoom 10%-15% or whatever.

My question is -- and I hope someone can address this--can landlords now safely discard the preferential rent and charge the much higher "legal regulated" rent? Or do they have to wait until the Court of Appeals rules?
