I paid almost $200 for Rent-Direct's "services." All I got were listings of apartments that nobody in their right mind would pay for or listings of apartments that were already rented. I would get a lead and call immediately, only to be told that I was the 80th person who called. Since I was moving from out-of-state and had nowhere else to go, I ended up having to use a broker. Now I have to fight Rent-Direct to get a few dollars back of what I paid them.
