I appreciate that the proposed changes to the four rent codes and regulations and the comments by tenant lawyers (and a DHCR employee) on the proposed changes are still there. And a better title to the link would be helpful. I didn't click on the old title to what is now a new link to that information.

When I first posted, I saw that there was a link to the old Rent Stabilization Code. I just hope the old code remains, along with links to the proposed changes, comments on the proposed changes by the tenant lawyers and a DHCR employee, and the final changes.

Here's a link to DHCR's website and the final amendments to all four rent codes and regulations, in both HTML and PDF formats:

http://www.dhcr.state.ny.us/ora/ora.htm#amend

However, there are errors in what TenantNet posted as the new Rent Stabilization Code. For example, the new section about the rent that can be charged to a roommate, 9 NYCRR §2525.7 (http://tenant.net/Rent_Laws/rsc/rsc2525.html), is from the PROPOSED changes -- not from the FINAL changes.

I haven't had the time to go through the entire code that TenantNet posted, but this section on the amount of rent that can be charged to a roommate is a glaring error. Copying and pasting an entire new section is very easy. I hate to think about possible errors when there are changes to existing sections, where old text is deleted and new text is added.
