I have lived in a rent stabalized studio and have paid the rent with my personal checks for over ten years although I am not the (tenant on the lease). The tenant left this studio when I moved in and the landlord has information that the tenants primary residence is elswhere. I have been properly notified of eviction. Do I have any rights since I have occupied this studio for many years and have always paid the rent with personal checks; utilities, drivers license, taxes etc. have also been in my name at this address.
