I don't get it. You list lots of reasons why you don't like your apartment ... yet now told you must leave you seek in vain ways to stay there and wallow in your misery longer.

Sorry. "Month to month" means either you or the LL can vacate the apartment on a months notice (for any reason, or no reason at all). Stay longer and you can pay double rent during the hold-over and eventually get evicted, and have the sheriff's move your stuff out for you.

Can you call the police ? Sure. Will it do you any good ? No. Wise up - find a new place now.
