If you sign the lease then thats it.... NO carpet!

It must be in writing! Also take pictures of the carpet, and add to the lease the carpet is very old and worn, and the landlord agrees not to charge the tenant for any damage to the rugs.

They will rufuse....so you will take your money and find a good landlord!


: I am planning on signing a lease in the near future, and was verbaly promised that the carpets would be changed by one leasing agent. A second leasing agent is now telling me that the carpets will not be changed. The carpets are 'old'.

: Is there a certain duration of time that a landlord is supposed to change carpets in Philadelphia? Once every how many years?
