I am about to rent a 2bdrm stabilized apartment. The manager will not let me see the apartment until I sign the lease. They only showed me a 1bdrm model apartment and said "use your imagination". I really feel uncomfortable with that. Is it illegal to make someone sign a lease first before showing the actual apt you are renting?
