If you're trying to say that your NYC landlord has locked you out of your apartment, immediately read about Illegal Lockouts on http://www.tenant.net

Then call the police, show them a copy of this if you have to,

If that doesn't get you back in, go to Housing Court in your borough first thing in the a.m.: they open at 8:00am and the clerks can help you fill out the Order to Show Cause to see a judge to get back in.
