Any unregistered car in a communal parking lot is considered abandoned, and can be towed at the owners expense....
UNLESS you actually pay for a designated parking space, then they cant move your car until the rent is not paid and they take you to court, and WIN.
That is the rules for most corporate complexes in America.
: I lives in an apartment in MA. I have a question about parking and tow.
: I have a lease signed with landlord. The only item related with parking is " Parking on the premises of the lessor is prohibited unless written consent is given by the lessor"
: Recently I returned my license plate to State Motorvihicle Registry because the car will not be driven for two months.
: Last Friday I received a writen notice for the rental office. It asked me to either registry my car or my car will be towed on my expenses.
: The office sent me some rules they claimed to be part of lease which is a separate paper (without my signature on it ).
: In the separate rules, the only item related with cars is
: "No auto repairs may be done on our property. All cars must be registered with the rental office. ANY UNREGISTERED CARS WILL BE TOWED AT YOUR EXPENSES."
: Should i do it as they say? I have two days to register my car again.
: Regards
: Sean
