Let Our Voices Be Heard!
Congress is holding hearings in Harlem on Sept 10th to investigate the 203(k) housing scandal. Many of the buildings affected by the scandal are occupied, and tenants have been living in deplorable conditions, without heat, hot water and other basic services. Tenant voices need to be heard. Whether or not you are a 203(k) tenant, come support your neighbors and fight for your neighborhood.
What: Rally & Press Conference

Our Demands as Tenants of 203(k) Buildings:
> HUD takes responsibility foir the maintenance and repair of all occupied buildings until the final disposition of the buildings
> NO rent increases
> NO displacement of tenants
> Opportunities for tenant-controlled housing through limited-equity co-ops, mutual housing association, or other mechanisms.
