I live in the financial district, which we all know has been turned into a war zone. While I am in no way downplaying the horror that we lived through (and that many did not) I have seen many posts on batteryparkcity.org about tenants who would like to break leases, get rent abatements for the time they were (and still are) out on the street, find out about the possibility of rent reductions (unlikely), and just basically understand their rights. Anybody have any information? I think it would be greatly appreciated by a lot of people.
