I rented a house in queens, ny 10/98 - 11/00.

Landlord gave me security deposit back 11/00 - check bounced.

When called he apologized but was all bs - he never made good.

Sued him in small claims court, won judgement.

City marshalls only collected 250/1200 owed to me.

Place lien on his property 2mos ago.

Got letter 2 days ago saying he's filing for chpt 7 bankruptcy.

Does my claim survive the bankruptcy because of the lien,
possibly because he was supposed to hold the money in trust and not mingle it with his own funds?

Or am I SOL.
