Most of the messages on this board deal with New York City. And very few people in New York City live in mobile/manufactured homes. In fact, there's only one mobile home park in all of New York City.

Could you tell us how New York state's STAR tax rebate program specifically affects manufactured homes, you, and your "landlord"? Do you rent the manufactured home? Or do you own the home and rent a space in a mobile home park?

: My question is when does the landlord have to pay the refund to the tenant? I was told school taxes need to be paid in early Oct.. My landlord said he would pay us in a lump sum but we had to wait until some un-named date in the spring. If we pay our rent late he charges us, but he can pay us what he owes any old time. Please help me!!!!!
